Moving
I'm planning on discontinuing my Xanga and starting a blog on my personal domain. (Some entries will still be left up.) I really like some of my posts here (e.g. Living Aloha) and plan on re-posting them on my new blog. Nothing's set up on my personal domain yet and this will be a slow but enjoyable learning process : ) If you would like to follow me there, please send me a personal message for the new address.

Do you worry excessively?
I'm reading an old Consumer Reports on Health article, from Jan 2007, on why do some people worry excessively. According to David D. Burns, M.D.,
"I believe excessive 'niceness' causes nearly all anxiety. If you're angry with someone or want something you don't think you're supposed to have, you sweep those feelings under the rug and suddenly you're so flooded with anxiety that you can't remember the original thing that upset you. If you can get your hidden emotions to conscious awareness and express those feelings, you may experience almost instant relief."
What's the underlying reason for your anxiety or anger? Once you discover what it is, your "panic attacks" just might disappear!
